Grilled tri-tip tonight

I'm on a roll with my new to me gasser. Grilled some tri-tip with some cherry wood chips.

How long did it take to cook?

Not very long. I'm so use to grilling on my kettles that using a gas grill seem so so fast. It  took maybe 10-12 min on each side. I like that the gas grill lights up and gets up to temp fast. I don't know why I avoided the gas grill so long. I have had 2 performers 1 with gas assist and a couple of kettles now I'll be using the gasser more often I think.
