I was really wanting some burnt ends, but didn't feel like cooking a whole brisket (I really only like the burnt ends anyway).
I saw "stew meat" with good marbling, so thought why not. After some research I saw these are sometimes called poor man's burnt ends.
The thumbscrew redhead gets the call

After a couple of hours in the smoke, then into the pan covered with some bbq sauce

Pulled the cover off and kept basting them until tender

They're okay, definitely has more of a jerky flavor/texture than real burnt ends.
Wings on around the vortex right now, waiting for the next game
GO PATS!!!
Thanks for looking

@Mr.CPHo
These are some shrimp cups
My wife makes them
They're wonton wrappers that get baked in cupcake molds until crispy, then you can fill them with whatever you'd like, these have shrimp and sour cream mixed with lime juice
We do all different kinds of fillings
Always a hit!

Cool, thanks.  Is there any oil in the cupcake molds?
