Chicken Garlic Pizza
« on: June 20, 2013, 07:51:09 AM »
I grilled up some chicken breasts and put this together. It had mushrooms, fresh mozz, green olives and lots of garlic. When it was finished I topped it with some fresh basil. I served it with bbq sauce to drizzle on because I didn't add any tomato sauce to it. I'm thinking a little Italian or ranch dressing would have also went well. It was more like a flat bread. I'm doing this again!

Thanks, on the dough I just picked some up at Safeway although I would like to make my own one day. I coated the Lodge pizza pan with olive oil, rolled out the dough, set it on and the I brushed the dough with olive oil. I think that last step is key. On the Lodge pans they work best cold, so I just assemble the pies right on it and then just put it in the grill or oven at around 425 until you like the color of the crust and everything looks melted together. On the next one I might try some spring mix salad and dressing.
