Beef Ribs on the OTS
« on: June 19, 2013, 10:52:31 PM »
Another past cook that I wanted to share. Beef ribs on the One Touch Silver this time.

It was my first ever attempt at beef ribs.

One plain (salt and pepper) and one with the Mad Hunky General Purpose rub (hmmm I am seeing a theme :)).

On to the Weber using the snake method with some cherry and hickory wood.

Getting there, the end bone fell out of the plain one!

Plain one, added some Rendezvous dry rub after cooking.

MH GP rubbed. Bark was amazing.

Nice job, but man they looked like briskets when they went on. After they shrunk there were three huge bones. Where did all that meat go! :o Are you dure it was even beef? Maybe they were bison or some other animal you guys have over there. :D

Them thar's short plate beef.....I can tell 'em all the way from California......

Fat renders & they slump, bones even slide around & change position sometimes.....
Kendoll's are dang near perfect, even a smoke ring on the underside !!!
