Thanks for the tip. Drilled mine yesterday. I was surprised how strong the steel was.  The grommet is a great upgrade!

👏👏👏 Its about time you finally drilled that hole. Adding OEM grommets,thermometers and lid vent handles can only help in the grilling/smoking process. Congrats.
