Big thanks to Stu for helping me out with the roti, finally got a chance to use it today. Just 2 quick pics as the family acts like they've never eaten today. Birds turned out juicy as can be!

Looks good - this is one of the best ways to cook chickens. I usually brine as well before cooking them on the spit.

Glad to assist.....your birds look great.  Admittedly, I was a skeptic on the roti before I owned one but they "turn" out some great food.

How much charcoal did you use? I usually use a whole chimney full and I think it might be overkill. The skin always gets too done, it never looks the way yours does. Are you basting too?

Jeff

The birds looked great!  Looks like a few of us were using their rotisseries last night!

Mark I never baste any of the roti chickens I've made. Whole chimney is about right for me, especially with it being cooler and windy that day. I did put a glaze over them around the last half hour.

Aha, it's the glaze that make them look so juicy and delicious. I'll remember that next time.
