Dizzy Ham
« on: December 24, 2016, 06:49:24 PM »
I always host Christmas Eve at my house and it's always ham in the oven. Well this year I decided to spin one.
Got the grill set up, 2 charcoal baskets full with Stubbs, 10 lit coals in the mini chimney to be split up, no wood for smoke. It was already hickory smoked ham, didn't want it to be too strong.

Scored it all the way around and used some big poppa smokers Sweet Money rub on it thanks to @Troy my secret Santa.

Up to temp (325) and spinning with no issues.

About 2 hours in. Looking so good.

Done. Time to glaze it. Dark maple syrup, brown sugar and Dijon Mustard.

Ready to be sliced up.

Sorry no pics of it sliced up. Family was starving.

I also served mac n cheese, creamed corn, bacon fried green beans, and biscuits.

Wishing everyone here a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. This really is the best forum.

Looks incredible! Love that action shot. I'm spinning one in the morning. Hope it turns out half as good as yours! Merry Christmas to you and yours!
