I made an expansion rack for my 18" WSM to do extra ribs.  I just bought four 4" Bolts and screw them to another 18" grate and they act like legs that rests right over the original grate.

You may be able to get them at dealers that have new summit charcoal grill in stock. I saw some at the dealer where I bought my grill.

I'm guessing it's too tall to fit a standard 22 kettle?

I think so - I can try it out when I get home

Even though I know I can build one cheaper with a 18 inch grate and some bolts, I love OEM stuff.

Your 18" grate wouldn't be SS however.
It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch

It is a bit big for a 22 inch kettle. Build quality seems very good. It should work on a 22 wsm. Here are a few pics - sorry it is raining so the pics are kind of crappy.

There is a little clip that locks the legs in place.

It's too big to fit on any of my Webers, but wow if I ever get a 22 WSM I'll be able to cook for the whole neighborhood with this!
One of the charcoal people.

iCARRY

Yup I need it for my WSM.

Those will fit the 26ers quite nicely. New or old version 26er....
