It's definitely aluminum. More pics will come tomorrow once I can wipe it down a bit. It's def faded all around but the top more so. Handle isn't in bad shape but will need to be refinished.

If it's a diamond pattern door, it's aluminum. If the door is aluminum (it is) the legs are aluminum.
It can be no older than a 84 because the C, D, and E date codes all had steel doors and legs for sure. Weber may have used steel even longer as I don't know exactly when the transition happened. I have a 95 with wood handles and aluminum hardware.

I was able to get a few pics this morning while the sun was still on it. It's in pretty good shape. Owner said he had it for a little more than 15 years.
