What is your cooker's name?

Many years ago the Pitmaster at Dinosaur BBQ in Syracuse resolutely informed me that all pits have their own personality and it is terrible luck to not recognize this by naming them.

Following this sage advice, over the years I have had a Sputnik, R2D2, Bertha, and Humpty among others.  It took a while for my OTS to reveal her personality to me, but she is now officially the "Black Pearl"

So - am I nuts (as my wife suspects) or does anyone else have names for their cookers?

Feel bad for "No. 2". That little has to live with that name forever.

Obviously looking for a Glen Blue (who isn't?😂).

Looking for anything Happy Cooker, including any re-branded as Montgomery Ward.  I've amassed a nice collection, but I'm missing a few still.  Let me know if you can help a fella out🤞

Green, Smokey Joe, 18, 26, and Go Anywhere. The green one is a 22" kettle--the other's aren't mature enough to handle having nicknames.  ;)

Ol' Blue, Copper Top, Green Machine.

My very first Weber kettle rescue was a redhead 22" .... I called her Scarlet ...

After the character name in the game Clue, Miss Scarlet ....

Q: How do you know something is bull$h!t?
A: When you are not allowed to question it.

I tend to refer to mine by the year and color..... Example 79 blue 22... I know! Real original. Right!? If it's a pre 79 I refer to it by approximate years. The few exceptions are that I refer to my 70-72 brown 26 as "Chief Mater", my 75 faded black 22 is called "Graphite and Glitter" and my 18 Cado as "Yoda".
