Heh, one of the many benefits of not having a wife is not having to explain things or needing to ask permission   ;D

Pretty sure that you are going to really enjoy having 2 RKs.

Me too, although a Ranch may be overkill to a family of only four.

I'm not worthy🤑. I just want to find one for a decent price. That MSRP is killer.

I lucked out on both of mine.   First one popped up on CL for a very good price, then I talked the guy down a bit more.  It was brand new and I got it for $375.  I was happy as hell with it and would have been content but the 2nd one popped up at an auction and I got it for $200+fees and tax.  About $250 when all was said and done.

As to it being overkill for a family of 4, all depends on what you grill.  If you just throw 4 servings of protein, i.e. burgers, chicken, steaks, etc, then yeah, it's over kill.   But, 4 bakers, 6 ears of corn, some asparagus, 4 ribeyes and a loaf of garlic bread, it's wonderful having the space to do it.

I've never even seen a ranch in person, are those cast iron grates stock, or an accessory from Craycort?

I'm running out of reasons to buy Webers.  Just brought home a jumbo Joe yesterday, and now eyeing a smokey joe with CI grates and Weber table for only $75.... I want it, bad, but hard to justify ANOTHER one.   Any good excuses y'all can provide?[emoji4]

It's at times like these that I like to quote my father. "Because I said so - that's all the reason you need. Now go."

Where did you find the cast iron grates for the Ranch?
