Found this grill on CL.  It is about an hour away.  Is it special in any way?? Is the color just fade?

 It's all up to you. I wouldn't make a special trip, but it got a $50 tag on it in the picture and he's now asking $25. I bet you can go lower.

Faded black. If it had a twist on ash pan, I might throw $25 at it. But I don't see an ash pan.
