Hello,
I'm pretty new to the site, have been lurking for a while, but not really new to Weber's.  I just finished cleaning this one up and replacing the wheels, which were old plastic lawnmower wheels.  The new wheels are from Ace hardware and painted black.  I put on a new handle from that guy who sells them on here ;). Looks good! I think its from the late 70's.  I was surprised to see that every tab on all the vent wheels were intact! The edge of the lid is banged up a little but not too bad.  I'm hesitant to even use it. the cooking grate is kind of rusty, but probably usable.  I never thought I'd like the color brown so much.  The spun lines on the lid look pretty cool.

The CHIEF is right, that is a beauty, my friend. What a nice grill.

I would not be the least bit hesitant to use that one.  Nice job.

Looks great. Nice job @glend123. I have the same dilemma after finishing a thorough restoration. That grate is in better shape than any that I own.

Nice Chief, I stored away the charcoal grate to preserve it on my Fleetwood. I have a charcoal grate cut out of 9 gauge expanded steel for my everyday use.

That's an awesome restore! You found those wheels at Ace with that tread pattern? The Ace's around here only have the "wafer" pattern treads. Yours are nice and look old school original.

Nice job!
I've got the same grill, and it's amazing how quick the color grows on you.
Mine is my go to for smoking butts and ribs.
