I don't see a lot of posts for brisket on a kettle. Been considering trying one myself. I would think a small one would work. Anyone else do brisket on a performer?

Brisket does get done.  @1buckie has done lots of them over the years.

Here is my one-and-only attempt on a kettle from exactly a year ago.  Not a big one, but it turned out awesome!

Q: How do you know something is bull$h!t?
A: When you are not allowed to question it.

A 2x2x1 snake/fuse, will give you plenty of fuel to do a full packer brisket in your performer. This is a 10lb Costco prime I did last 4th of July.

Awesome info, thanks for sharing. I always thought if I could master brisket on the kettle, there would never be a need for anything else in my yard. I used my stick burner yesterday and did a nice job (according to the family) but you have to stay on it. When I do 6 hour cooks on ribs I never do anything but sauce and wrap. I imagine a 26" would work great.

26' with a slow n sear works great. 22' with the smokenator or slow n sear works fine as well.
Looking for colored 18's and SJ's.

Does a corned brisket transformed into pastrami count? This is about 14lbs of corned brisket (separated point and flat) I did earlier this year.

Rondo

I think it counts. Thanks for the pic.
