Summer time snack
« on: May 25, 2016, 10:04:46 AM »
Kids out of school now. Here's a little snack to keep on hand.

Brush beaten egg on the ones on the right. I used about 3/4 chimney off kbb. She didn't want to get up to 400 so I kept the lid cracked for most of the cook. That gave around 375 with a chunk of Apple. Probably could have gone 400ish and shaved a couple minutes off if I would have used a full chimney. These went about 30min.

Once done, I slid them over direct for just a quick char. I actually like the egg washed ones the best. They had a great color. Kids and I) devoured them.

Good luck this summer men.
