Beautiful day to fire up the new grill

Seasoned wings first

Grill set up indirect - note use of the old charcoal rail

Smoke at 325-350 with pear wood

These are the settings I used - it was running a bit hot (400) but easily got it around 325 with the the following vent settings.

Wings almost done

Yum

Fire stoked up for the burgers

Never get bored see smoke billow from the top vent

Added cheese

Burgers done

This is a really awesome cooking machine. Learning more ever day.

I love it when I see you post something. That is such a bad ass grill!

Looking at those pictures with the high heat smoke coming out, it doesn't look like it leaks anywhere. What kind of seals are they using with it?

Very nice cook brother and beautiful grill.

At first I was impressed by the wings, and then I saw the burgers!
Looks perfect!

What seasoning did you use on the burgers, looks like some rosemary added in it?

Looks like you're really getting the hang of the Summit, @Bbqmiller.

Huston bay beef spice from savory spice. This place is like penzey's, and a store opened up very close to where I live. I get most all my spices from here. This one is really good on prime rib, but is really nice even on burgers.
