Working on a project for my SS performer and I want to match the Stainless used on it. Any one know what type Weber uses?

I don't know the gauge, but mine mic'd .0375-.038.  I measured the lid access where it hinges since it was single layer vs the perimeter that was rolled.

Thanks @btomlin ! From a quick web search it sounds like that's right around 20 Gauge.

No problem.  Good luck.  It would be interesting to see if the metal on my ssp measures up to the same thickness as others............my calipers should be excellent since they assist in producing some dang fine accurate ammunition!  :)
