Pretty sure it's a 3200, but how do tell? Is there a way to tell its age? Wish I took before pics, as it was covered in mold. A wire brush made short work of the mold and grime. The grate was rusted as fuck, but a grill brush and vegetable oil did wonders. The thing that holds a drip pan is a mess. I think some Dawn will clean that up. Not a bad hot dog cooker.

Ok, I have no idea what I have. Takes the green, disposable propane tanks. Has side tables, but no thermometer. It obviously hasn't been used in a long time. I'll try get some pics tomorrow.  Need to know what cover to get. Any help would be appreciated.

Probably a Q2000. The 3200 would have a therm in the lid. One large U shaped burner?

@glrasmussen Do these help?

Or anyone else for that matter.

@TheDude , yes. Q2000 is what you have. I really enjoy mine for quick chicken breast cook. Does good on burgers too. Enjoy it!

Thanks. It's a neat little grill. When I got it home and picked up the grate, it was filled to grate level with mold. Looked like it was insulated. A wire brush did wonders though. The catch pan was over filled with moldy grease. Dawn came to the rescue there. There was just enough gas in the tank to test it and give the top of the grate a once over. Still a lot of rust on the grate.

Its a q200 because it has WEBER on the lid vs the Q of the newer q2000

Ok, I know my kettles petty well. Looking for a cover. 200 or 2000. What am I looking for? When it comes to gassers, I'm lost. Not sure this thing will do more than hot dogs, but I don't want to turn it into a rust bucket.

The Q is a great grill. It's more of a conductive type of grill. It works well for searing medium high heat cooks but it's not great for super high heat for thick pieces of meat. You can do spatchcocked chicken and the light but I would stay away from whole roast type cooks. I'd read this thread if you haven't already: http://weberkettleclub.com/forums/weber-gas-grills-electric-cookers/calling-all-weber-q-owners/

There's a cover for the actual q itself that is decent and there is also a model that covers the entire cart.
