Top vent says "Patent Pending". I rubbed it down with Pam cooking spray. Turns it black but I did it to protect because it has some pits on the bowl. It isn't permanent but can be redone occasionally. It seems like it sinks into the paint. It does not stay greasy.

@SteveZ in that case, get a picture of that lid vent too, once you've given it a little polish. When you get time. No rush. Seriously, no hurry. We know you're busy. Got stuff to do. We're not the priority. I mean it, do what you gotta do first.
It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch

Front leg bent and kinked had to replace. Back legs polished up nice. Triangle rusted pretty bad wire brushed the hell out of it.

No chicken yet
Had to scroll through and find this again. So cool. How are you enjoying it, Steve. Any cooks yet?

SteveZ

@Travis I cook all the time. I've done chicken and pork steaks on the 26. Just got back in the country last night. Did baby backs on the UDS today.
