Hillbilly Hamburger
« on: March 31, 2016, 03:03:43 PM »
Had the day off and some ground beef left from a couple days of hamburger cooking....the meat guy at work alerted me to the fact that the medium ground beef was made from prime rib left over from Easter. So I've been doing burgers. Today however it was raining far too much to not have a cover....so like a hillbilly I am on the front porch. For this burger I went with garlic chipotle mayo, bacon, mushrooms, white cheddar and yellow mustard.

The pretzel bun is something I have only seen 604 use and AcrossFromHoss prompt me to try....today was that day and I am happy. They only had the sub style buns so I improvised:

"Why do you have so many bbq's?"....."I just like lookin' at em' sometimes....and I have enough purses and shoes"

My favorite way to cook bacon. Never mind the skillet.... Just throw it on the grate indirect.
