Applewood smoked homemade cheddarwurst sausage (SO good), dijon roasted yukon gold potatoes, grilled corn on the cob...out of season not as good as it could be, I also grilled some pineapple (not pictured), and tomato, cucumber, avocado salad with lime juice.

(I'm always too eager to start eating to take the pic of my plate when it looks nice)

Overall, the 26er worked great.  That was A LOT of sausage, nine yukon gold potatoes, and six ears of corn wrapped in foil.  I remembered to use my welding gloves when handling the metal lid handle.  It was hot.  Hopefully I remember to do it every time.  Only downside...I used Kingsford Competition Briquettes I got at Costco last week (2 bags for $15).  I thought I'd give them another try.  I just have to say I hate how quick they burn down.  By the time everything else was ready, the corn needed a few more minutes and the coals were almost completely burnt out after only about a hour and a half total time from when they were lit using the chimney starter.  Rant over...overall LOVE the old grill, and I can't wait to use her more regularly.

I can appreciate you raising a toast to that great old kettle. Good first cook.

I hate to say it, the drink was just a shot of Canadian Club and water on ice...I call it "flavor water."

Great cook man and beaut of a grill. What do you put in your sausage?

@Travis here's the link I used for this recipe:

The only change I made is marjoram instead of rosemary.  I also upped the pepper considerably.  If I was to do it again, I'd add more cheddar.  Overall I loved it!  Made twelve pounds of sausage.
