Alright I'll start things off. No big party here today, just me, the wife, and some pulled pork.

Started off with a new rub I came across, all organic and made by some locals around here, pretty good too.

The Chief gets the call last night

Made a snake around a wide-side-up Vortex (I've come to like this method, no need to fuse with building a snake) Hickory and Cherry are the wood choices

Around 11:00 o'clock last night, all fired up and ready to go. I like to do butts around 225* nice low and slow and no wrapping for barkier bark

About 13-14 hours later, the meteorite had formed and it was probing tender all over. Wrapped it in some foil and let it take a nap in the cooler.

Well, like I said no party or company coming over today, but I did manage to put it in a football bowl (hope that counts for something). Some slaw, vinegar sauce, and chipotle coffee sauce.

TOUCHDOWN!

We've been big on pulled pork nachos lately. Chips, shredded cheese, pulled pork, cheese sauce, slaw, and both sauces.

IT'S GOOD!

Hope you all enjoy the game, I can't wait to see some the big spreads I know are going to show up!

We are having grilled guacamole, cheese stuffed jalapeños wrapped with bacon, buffalo chicken dip, teriyaki wings and pork tenderloin. For a family of three, might be some leftovers.

Ok well the day started out at my brothers where I said I would cook an early dinner for everyone. I went with some hot and fast meatloaf. Went with a store bought meatloaf mix, added some onion, some bread crumbs, an egg and lots of McCormicks sweet and smokey rub cause that's all he had on hand. Here they are ready to go.

On the grill with some pecan.

An hour later, maintained 400 the entire cook.

Let them rest, they look like footballs to me.

Plated.

Now one of my kids started to not feel so good so we had to leave my brothers and go home. Wasn't going to let that stop me from cooking at home though for the wife and I. Since it was just the two of us, I didn't go crazy with the spread but it was darn good. My ATBs stuffed with cream cheese and a little smokey.

Wrapped

Next up is bacon wrapped onion rings.

All ready to go with oakridge bbq sweet rub rub.

Grills ready

Got them on, held about 315 the entire time for about 90 minutes with Apple chunks.

Finished ATBs

Finished onion rings

Made some other things inside that way I could help out with kids. Wings with oakridge bbq secret weapon pork and chicken rub.

Some little smokies with brown sugar, butter and bacon.

We are stuffed. I am tired. Not sure I will make it till the end of the game. Thanks for looking. Good night.

Alright WKC Members to be honest I could not took this on game day. My cousin was to have the party at his house but he had to bring his kid back to his mother’s house ON GAME DAY!
So we decided to do a pregame party on Saturday to warm up for Sunday :)

The Menu:
Pizza, ABT’s, Beer, Jack Daniels, and Glenfiddich Sctoch

Pizza
•   Sausage and Mozzarella Cheese – Red Sauce
•   Spinach, Garlic, and Mozzarella Cheese – Red Sauce
•   Chicken, Onion, and Pepper Jack Cheese – BBQ Sauce
•   Onion, Mushroom, Green pepper,  Red Pepper, Black Olive, Mozzarella Cheese  – Red Sauce
•   Beef, Onion, Green Pepper, Mozzarella Cheese – BBQ Sauce
•   ABT’s (Chopped Up), Onion, Green Pepper, Sausage and Mozzarella Cheese – Red Sauce
•   Sausage, Pepperoni, and  Mozzarella Cheese – Red Sauce
•   Chicken, Onion, Sausage, Pepperoni, Green Pepper, and Pepper Jack Cheese – Red Sauce
•   Double Sausage and Mozzarella Cheese,  and Double – Red Sauce
•   Double Sausage, Double Pepperoni and Mozzarella Cheese

At this point all where drinking and having a good time creating different pizzas… anything they wanted to try, we did.

Nice to have help on something like this need to stay hydrated when doing this and was not without a beer for long. Ended up doing 17 Pizzas that day 6hur on and off the grill!

Was not bad started at 1:PM at 36.0 °F and a 12.7 mph wind and by the end was a little colder 32.0 °F and a 5.8 mph wind.

Items used:
•   4 LBS chicken
•   5LBS Sausage
•   3 Onions
•   2 Red Peppers
•   2 Green Peppers
•   2 Yellow Peppers
•   18 Jalapenos
•   2LBs chorizo
•   6LBs Mozzarella
•   2LBs Pepper Jack Cheese
•   2 Lbs Beef

All of this was done a 2 Weber Grills (1) 22” and (1) 18” – A very big step for me on something like this I would have had 3 to 4 going but it was not at my place or at @ctwhyme place. @ctwhyme was there to help along with my cousin. We ended up going through 3 bags of charcoal,2 bags of wood chips, and one bag of Hickory Lump for this cook that took over 5 hrs

A big thank you needs to be given to my cousin’s wife and mine for rolling out all that pizza dough. Thank you ladies ;D

Now for some pictures…

ABT's...

Pizza...

Now The Fun!!!!

Not my cook, but was there to help.
Sorry, been watching a lot of The Walking Dead

Don't really know much about this cooking style. It was in a box with the charcoal over the top of the box.
