It was a beautiful day in Central Florida yesterday and I had the house to myself and the Barrett Jackson collector car auction to watch.   I thought the only thing that could make this day more perfect is to have my patio smell like smoke all day.   Plus it would give me a reason to be outside.

I saw this recipe on Bobby Flay's BBQ Addiction and it was one of the reasons I wanted to get a kettle in the first place.  http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/korean-pulled-pork-sandwich-with-asian-slaw.html

I marinated a five pound bone-in Boston butt overnight.   I decided to give the snake method a try using Stubbs charcoal briquettes.   It worked beautifully and would have made it through the whole cook if I hadn't run in to "the stall".   As much research as I did before I started this, somehow I missed the part about wrapping it in foil when it stalls out.   Anyhow, I got passed it and added more charcoal to get to the promised land.

Here's some pics:

The end result

Dressed out with the Korean BBQ sauce and Asian slaw.   It's amazing.
