Flippin' the baskets
« on: January 06, 2016, 06:43:19 AM »
Greetings everybody!!

So I thought I'd share this pics...

10 brics on flipped baskets, started real quick with the wiini chimney

Cabrerias (tenderloin in the bone?)

The reason I tried this is because sides were not going to be grilled... Good sides, though.

Here with some salsa spillage

Cheers!

Nice tip.  If I am just doing a quick cook like this I just use my Smokey Joe, but I think you're method would use even less coals.

Neat. The next step is to forget the grill grate and cook 'em straight on the coals!
It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch

Now that's an efficient way to sear! Thanks.

Good idea. I also like the smokey joe as a go to grill for small and quick cooks.
