Cedar Planked Salmon
« on: January 16, 2016, 04:32:38 PM »
Picked up a nice salmon filet at Costco today. Soaked a plank for about an hour and seasoned up the filet with sea salt and a salt free salmon season from a local store. Basically a lot of dill and some garlic.

Fired up a 3/4 chimney of KBB and put it right down the middle between to bricks.

Put the salmon on, temps were at just about 375.

The plank started smoking, nothing too crazy, didn't flare up at all.

All finished up.

Plated.

Looks good. Where did you get the plank? It's pretty good size.

Bought them at Costco over the summer. They have them every year where they sell the grills.
