Bought a Summit for $65
« on: January 26, 2016, 03:46:45 PM »
Pretty beat up shape and in Texas. Can't wait to fire it up when I get there. An overhaul is needed though, but she's a cooker. [emoji1]

Great find!!!! I got mine then called Weber and they sent me 600.00 in repair parts at no charge! I let them know it was my dads. Call them them before just placing the order.
Wife said "No more GRILLS in this house!" So I bought a 2nd house!

Golly

Holy crap what a deal. So they trashed it but preserved the cabinet handles by not removing the plastic?

And YES register it with Weber and/or call them with what you need.
It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch

@jbenavidez2, you're going to drive from Michigan to Texas and back to get this grill? Let me know if you need some spare parts. That appears to be an S-470. I have an S-670 (The Beast!). They basically use the same parts. I have some parts I can give you if you need them.
This is the original Weber kettle. The most powerful bbq grill in the world and can blow your taste-buds clean off! So, you have to ask yourself one question: "Do you feel hungry? Well, do you punk?"
