Wanted to do some quick grilling for New Years Eve dinner, loaded up my Halo Hillbilly Vortex with some Real Montana Apple Lump and a couple small wine barrel chunks on Little Red.

A couple New York strips going quick reverse sear

While the steaks were resting I tossed on 3 split Lobster tails basted with Lime Basil Butter and grilled direct @ 3-4 minutes per side

BOOM!

Happy 2016!
I cook on: Backwoods Gater, Lang 36, Hunsaker Smokers, Pellet Pro 22" WSM, BGE's, WSM's, Cajun Bandits, PK Grills, Drum Smokers, Genesis Silver C, Weber Q's, Cookshack 008, Little Chief, La Caja China #2, Lodge Sportsman...oh yeah! Weber Kettles! Kamado restoration and pit modification hack!

I used to sell the RMC , it's as fine a lump as there is , it's spendy and flavors are hard to get at times , you can get a 20 pound box or the 5 lb bags , check out the site for a distributer in your area and place an order it may take awhile to get certain flavors but it's worth it !

I think I paid $5 a bag (5lb bags) a few years ago at a comp. Maple, Apple & Cherry. down to my last 4 bags. Pull it out for those epic cooks!
