New life for an old gasser...

I've been collecting CL freebies,with the intention of making a custom cart/buffet, with a propane burner. This is what I ended up with...









The primary use for this burner will be deep frying fish, for fish tacos.  8)

Nice job!!   Is that burner going to have high enough BTU for fish frying ?

I sure hope so!!!  :o

Well, before I put this all together, I used the other side burner to fry some fish. I didn't have any issues getting the oil hot enough, so I'm thinking this side burner should get the job done too. I use an enameled cast iron DO and about 1-2 quarts of oil.

Thanks for the compliments guys! So far, no fish tacos  :(  but has come in handy to store some of my gear!
