Set up my new weber rotisserie attachment permanently with the screw provided(yes, I drilled two little holes in the kettle).  Love that it has a permanent home.

Of course for the maiden voyage meat of choice was chicken.

Held temp well @375.
Cook went a bit over what it should have as I got busy doing stuff in the yard but it still tasted great.

Because I was busy didn't get a chance to try moving the coals under the bird for the last half hour but there's always next time.
Absolutely love this thing.  Can't wait for the weekend to try doing a pork shoulder.

Nice looking chicken. The roti is fun to use.

Nice cook! Looks like a turkey snuck into the chicken barn... that's a big sucker!

Weber provides screw to permanently attach a roto to a kettle?
I am not a collector, but I do have a small collection.

Yup....two in fact.

@Lumpy Coal   great way to break in the Roti.  You don't have to move the coals to sear.  Just take off the lid.  In about 5 min the flame will be bouncing off the chicken.

I'll try that.
