Looks like they got rid of the Crimson. No crying here. It means mine is now limited edition. The first $200 takes it. [emoji41]
But seriously, they just can't get the red color right. First brick red, then the flat crimson. What's next?

This may be the standard big box retailer catalog for 2016. Crimson is only offered at "premium" retailers like Ace. It appeared in the 2015 "premium dealer" catalog but not the regular one.  Looks like the handle positions isn't changing back but I'm not surprised either.

Ah, good catch, Craig. I forgot about that. Well count me as one who doesn't really like the current crimson anyway. Along with all of the other issues with the 2015 kettles.
Growing family = growing kettles!

Crimson was not even shown on Weber's website last year as a color option.  My guess is it's still around.

Crimson isn't as bad as it's made out to be. In some light it's more red, in others it's more of a rust brown bricky reddish color....

I have a euro 18.5 Smoke and I have to say its a FANTASTIC color option. I've added the 2015 ash can. Here's a cpl shots

It is really a hard color to capture in pics and has an almost metallic finish

I see they added Beech to the smoking woods. Anyone ever smoke with Beech? Is it any good? Also, they added a sear station burner to the Spirit line of gas grills.

This is the original Weber kettle. The most powerful bbq grill in the world and can blow your taste-buds clean off! So, you have to ask yourself one question: "Do you feel hungry? Well, do you punk?"

I agree with you guys. handle, ash catcher and color! The passion for those Kettles is here in this club, not at Weber. I think the new handle layout is associated with the larger Performer Lid Bail. And of course Weber isn't gonna make that many variations on the lid. Wished I was awake to the kettles offered back around 2007. I would have gotten a copper Silver One Touch. Must cost too much money to clean and change colors in their high production sprayers. Wished they would do one Special order run for  the club each year.Wonder how much it would cost to build a shop to spray custom colors and bake them in small batches?
