Hoping any of you Weber Q owners could chime in on this. Would using GrillGrates on top of the original CI grates affect the performance of the Q or would it be best to just stick with the CI grate by itself. I'm asking because i just recently purchased GrillGrates for my beater Charbroil and would like to still utilize them, but don't want to degrade the performance of the grill. So if anyone has tried using them i would like some feedback

You'll have no issues using Grill Grates on your Q.....
I am not a collector, but I do have a small collection.

What Boltz said . They will work fine

I have a set of grill grates , I also have a Q220 & Q320.
I think the grates on the Q cook better than grill grates.

I'm glad to see LostArrow's response. I've never tried Grill Grates, but find the porcelain cast iron grates on my 3200 to be wonderful. I will funnel my accessory money elsewhere.

Just picked this beauty up last night. Found it on CL for $150 and jumped on it. When I went to pick it up I was shocked to see how clean it was. The guy barely used it and another surprise was i went there thinking it was the Q300 as was advertised but when I saw the LED light on it i knew it was the Q320. This is great timing for the holiday weekend too.
