Some Simple Halves
« on: June 20, 2015, 05:06:14 PM »
Most of the time, I do not like to complicate bbq …. Just a little Salt & Pepper (S&P).

These chicken halves were lightly coated in EVOO, then some Kosher salt, and fresh cracked pepper.  Some pear wood for smoke.  Delicious!  :D

Really like the color on those. Whats running through the rice? Onion? That plate just looks like summer.

Thanks for looking, guys!  8)

@1911Ron - I find that the pear is quite mild for flavour.  I prefer apple and cherry.

@AcrossFromHoss - That was leftover rice from some Thai take-away.  My wife added some fresh pineapple to it.  Very good!
