The cucumber salad was a nice balance to the kick n' spicy Webers bbq sauce.

I could certainly do more with the burgers, but this was a new venture with the onion straws, so the burgers were kept simple. Not to mention... A new kettle.  :D

how'd ya coat them rings?  i do a heavy "wash" (which is more like a batter) and then dredge them in a seasoned flour/cornstarch mix. yours look similar, but a little lighter. it's all purpose - works for fish, chicken strips & rings.

Soaked in buttermilk while the oil came to temp. Dredged in apf, cyan and s&p. Lots of p.
