We have a German exchange student staying with us and Monday night there's a potluck to welcome them. I volunteered to provide bbq. Yesterday I smoked 3 Boston butts, and today am working 4 whole chickens. I shredded and chopped 2 of the butts last night, got tired and decided to slice the third. I'll likely pull all the chicken. The plan is to serve out of crock pots tomorrow night unless there are any other ideas...
Pics of chix smoking now...
Cheers!
And my beer...

You could grab some small rolls, mix a quick slaw (those won't add immensely to the cost, as you've already shelled out a bit there!!) & serve sliders......

Promise me you won't douse the meats in ordinary BBQ sauce, please.....just add mojo or light vinegar sauce so the hard work you put in gets to come thru & be noticed.........

Excellent color on the chickens !!!!!
"If you want it fancy there is BBQ spray paint at home depot for that. "
    Covered, damper-controlled cooking.....IF YOU PLEASE !!!

1buckie: just mixed up my vinegar finishing sauce: apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, salt, black pepper, cayenne and Texas Pete's. Can't say that people at the party won't do what they will...but I wont! Cheers!
