Chesapeake Weber

Today, I just received my first pieces from @zavod44 for several of my pickups over the summer.  Hopefully, I can get them in place this weekend, but I can't wait that long to share with you all.  I've read on this thread and elsewhere how awesome his work is, but like many know you can't really appreciate them until you have them in hand.

First up, the Performer Dead Set in tiger maple.  Wasn't my original wood choice, but when the master suggests something how do you argue with it?  And he was totally correct.

We worked out the concept art and he made it work in an amazing way!  These are scheduled to go on my new to me blue performer (@dwnthehatch 's former grill that he was kind enough to get me started with).  Can't wait to get them in place!  Thanks again @zavod44.

Next up is a 3 handle set for my green premium with my team's logo on dark walnut.  A good season to add these to my original Weber!

The last two sets are high figured cedar for my black CGA, and a lid handle for my red head I picked up this summer in black tiger stripe (stained tiger maple I believe).

He did an amazing job bringing my vision to life.  Mr. Zav had to re-tool his process, but man did he deliver.  Awesome to work with as many already know.

Got the pieces on their new homes (except for the ash sweep Weber Stealie handle, need to swap some parts out first).

Have a pork butt on the Eagles smokin' Weber; just in time for the big game against the wife's Steelers!
