Anyone ever use this stuff? Seems to be like a high heat Bondo. You can sand it and even tap it.

I've never seen that.  Let us know how you use it and how good it works!

It's rated at 1009 degrees. Thinking of using it to fill some pits in a bowl of and old kettle then powder coat. As long as I'm not banking the coals around the inside of the bowl, I should be ok. Right?

i would be careful.
it's hard to tell if that stuff will put out any nasty gases and chemicals when it gets hot.

Do you have another nasty bowl you can test it on? Or maybe an el-cheapo off CL? It would fill the hole, but like Troy said I would run it hot and empty a few times before putting food or even the cooking grate back in.

It would just be the outside of the bowl. I'm looking for a test kettle right now.
