It finally was TG morning and I was very excited to try rotisserie turkeys on the Kettles. Unfortunately one of the rotis motor did not work and it was brand new out of the box original Weber Motor. But thankfully I had a backup plan.

Here are the ingredients to place inside each turkey:

Stuffed in each turkey

I used bamboo skewers to truss the turkey so the twin wouldn't tear up the skin. I only used twin on the drumsticks tips.

Onto the kettles

Almost done

And the cooking was done 3 hrs later :)
Turkey 1

Turkey 2

Also did 3 additional drumsticks

The skin was very crispy (almost crackling), and I think drying the turkeys for 2 days in the fridge helped a lot. The brine kept them moist and flavorful and the apple wood gave them great flavor. I'd say it was huge success :)
