Thanks everyone! Here are a few more teasers until it gets nice outside... These handles are works of art!

That is awesome!!! Whey dont sell that color in the US, I will NEVER understand!!!

BigRix

Very nice!

How are we going to date these without a code?

Are we going to have to start a database with serial numbers?

Maybe in the future we will contact Weber Historical Services and order a letter stating where, and to whom, our grill was originally sold just like many do with their guns?

I only use kettles with lid bales.

Those handles + that ivory kettle=gorgeous! So is this a 2015 kettle? Are they not doing date codes anymore and going serial number only?

That's a sweet looking grill.  I like the black handles, but Brian's handles do set it off nicely.  What's the source of this grill?  Someone send it to you from across the pond?  Looks like my Bone White Smokeys big brother!

Kettle collector AND cooker!

Wow, that is a beauty, Matt!  Love those handles, too.

Okay, now I will trade my PP 18" 'cado .... for that.  ??? :o ;) ;)  (tongue inserted into cheek)  :D

I always though it would be cool to have a red, white and blue kettle for July 4th.  But the white and zebra wood handles are....WOW!
Thank you for sharing.

I appreciate all the kind words everybody!! Thanks!

Last night I slapped a twist ash pan on just for fun but with all the other hardware on the kettle being black (lid rollers, lid damper tab, triangle, wheels, ash bucket) it didn't quite look right. I actually think I am going to take this one right back to stock as the contrast of the all black hardware looks pretty cool on the white. There are other kettles just begging to try the zebrawoods - Blue wave SJ is first on the list  ;)

To properly pull off an ivory retro you need to go all the way, swap out every piece for older parts and it still may not look right with the lid bale. IMO the OTG kettles are more suited for the retro idea so my Copper will be keeping its twist on ash pan :)

I can't explain the no date code and think it might just be an anomaly as the new black MT has an "AH" stamp, as does my newer copper OTG with the updated handle. Also both kettles were packaged after 07/09/14 based on the dates on the assembly guides. Funny little fact - the Euro guide is printed on recycled paper and the US version is nice deep blacks on bleached paper :) The photos are also accurate as it shows the Euro having the black triangle and ash pan instead of silver.

Weber Historical Services - AKA - the WKC ;)

Here are a couple quick shots of the charcoal measuring bucket. It's actually kinda cool.

Interesting bit of info regarding date codes - thanks to @Idahawk for contributing to this...

The newer serial numbers are also apparently date coded:
CN####### = 2013
CS####### = 2014
CU####### = 2015

BUUT. Both my Black and Ivory MT's have 2015 "CU" serial numbers but only the Black is stamped "AH" (2014). To make things even more confusing, the new style copper (bolt on handle) is stamped "AH" but has no serial number at all. It will be interesting to see how this progresses and if they have indeed dropped the stamped letter code completely on new models.
