Grilled whole Snappers
« on: November 04, 2014, 04:15:40 PM »
Found these fresh whole snappers at the market

Cleaned them up, seasoned them, stuffed them with fresh herbs, lemon peels and green &yellow onions, garlic and brushed with EVOO

Placed them in rotisserie baskets. I like these baskets because they don’t have handles and I can close the grill lid. They also make it so much easier to turn the fish around

Placed on the grill over coals

Basted with a mixture of garlic, lemon juice, EVOO and oregano while cooking

And dinner was served :)

Excellent- I grill a lot of fish but usually wrap whole fish in aluminum foil so it steams.
I'll have to try this

Z - its so great to see you back posting here.  Your cooks are inspirational and often feature fresh ideas for things to put on the grill.
