Cast iron cooking - sausages and cornbread
« on: October 06, 2014, 05:00:13 PM »
Started off with some ABT's and a skillet of jalapeņo cornbread. Sorry the pic is dark.

ABT's done.

Smaller skillet with some peppers and onions for the sausages

Sausages got some browning over the fire and finished indirect in the skillet.

Cornbread came out nice

No it was just one 12 in skillet. I have three 12 in lodge skillets. I had ordered one online and was sent by mistake 1 pack of three. The company said to just keep them. I have a 15 in skillet too. I should round up all of my cast iron - I have built up a pretty good selection over the years.

Thanks for all of the replies. CI Cornbread on a kettle is yummy. I will likely have some leftover tonight.
