Mobile site suggestion.
« on: October 03, 2014, 02:18:17 PM »
Is there a way to add a link to the top of the mobile page to go to the non mobile page? I use tapatalk most of the time but when adapting the profile or something like that I end up having to go into tapatalk and find a link that isn't working properly to get into the non mobile page.

I'm not sure what you mean, there is no mobile site.

Can you share one of the links that isn't working?

When I bring up weberkettleclub.com on my phone this is the screen

The links I referred to only have a problem in tapatalk but if you notice in the following (and these are just a couple of examples I found real fast):

On the SJ smoker conversion the last few characters are not included in the link

And in this one you will see the same thing on Ebony Handles

And when you click on those links in tapatalk it brings up this screen

I hope this helps.

ahh ok.
the homepage is responsive. its not a separate site. Essentially css and some javascript detect the width of your browser and flex the display code a bit to fit. At narrow widths, the top nav bar collapses into the three horizontal lines (often referred to as 'hamburger')

The links should all work - but I tested a few minutes ago and they indeed, did not (for me)
I will fix this.

THe forums themselves are fully functional on mobile, but its not a responsive nor an adaptive mobile design. It may be possible to make it more mobile friendly - I will look into this.
