Cool.  A labor of love indeed. Bravo!

Does Weber even know all the stuff they sold?!!

I've got both this work table and the modern plastic one. The wooden one gets put into service more often. As most of my kettles are MBH variety. And the wooden one has more space and is more fun to work with..

When were they made?

The work tables started out in the mid-late 50s as laminated with metal around the sides. Just like a 50s kitchen table. Same shape. By the late 60s they changed to wood grain laminate. And by 1972 (according to the catalog) they were wooden press board like the one I have. They were made until the early 80s or so. I would love to see how the last ones were built to attach to the WBH kettles.

Craig, I'm still not sure if the parts I have were actually for an official Weber table or not......

It's a wire  (like thin grate or the tool hook thickness material) bent into a shape that loops over the handle......from under the table just the same, but it's not flat stock like yours or others I've seen....
I'll get some pics & put here.....
"If you want it fancy there is BBQ spray paint at home depot for that. "
    Covered, damper-controlled cooking.....IF YOU PLEASE !!!
"But the ever versatile kettle reigned supreme"

Love the AutoCAD drawing, I use AutoCAD daily and it didn't click that it would be much easier if there was a drawing for the table. Great Job!! Are you an engineer Brickout?

I've been an AutoCAD use since 1991. Originally my background was in drafting design. Currently I'm one year away from earning my degree in architecture.
