Hey, Dazzo- It did get MUCH better once you started cooking.
Pleasure to meet you, Brent! Next time stay for the main event. It was nice hanging out with you all as always. We were grilling with a breeze in the shade in the am but on the way back home it got up to 103F on the highway. Back in my area near the bay the temperature was a cool 78F. Crazy Bay Area weather.
Story time:
Once we were done cooking we gave our hot coals to this dude that had a black MBH. I told him we were part of WKC and he asked me if I ever seen a kettle as old as his. I eyed it for a sec and guessed it was mid 70's- and he told me I was right on the money. His family got it shortly before he was born in '79. Mission accomplished. If you are reading this, I hope you join us Mr. P!
Last but not least, moar pix!
