I'll crap on the gasser section if someone needs to do it.  I hate them, I had one, and I got rid of it as soon as I could.  I hate using them.  I have no problem if you guys want to make a section, but it's something I would never look at.  That's just me, and my opinion is just that, I would never want to stop anyone from doing something they like.  You have my blessing, but I will never look at it.

I don't own a gas grill but others here have mentioned under what circumstances they enjoy using one, and that's certainly valid in the context of this site.

My take on this topic is that gassers DO have their place (hey, I've got friends who use them ...) and that there are times when it would be good to know under what conditions someone would benefit from one.

But that would seem like having a section devoted to the same question being asked over and over again, here.
It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch

I am personally against it.
I think the WKC should remain dedicated to the kettle and all things kettle related.

That said, if the community were to demand it - we should add it.
Gasser talk can go in off topic or the grilling and bbqing forum for now.

Weber.  Kettle. Club. WKC.  🙅

IMO, this should just stay a kettle forum. I own a gasser 2003 weber Genesis Platinum and there is already a forum that has a gasser section. I like that WKC specializes in kettles only.

I can go with the flow.  I don't have a gas grill and only charcoal but would like a gas one to warm thing up quickly and for when my grand daughter wants a quick hot dog on the grill late at night now pappy can make her one quickly. ;D

I do like the fact that the site specializes in Weber Kettles.
