I'd like to see an orange kettle before and after.
Well......
Standard Blackie "P" Code.....roughed up the surface a bit.....and then a heavy coat or two of hi-heat primer......
18's work OK for a drying stand & I also have another rolling cart that sits up a little higher for the actual spraying........
Three layers of Orange, then heat set as a stepped up low, medium, high heating up of the kettle, carefully....
Then two coats of hi-heat clear, with heat setting.......
Turned out nice, but here's the "actual" after that you seek:
The banking of coals was just too much, I would imagine & so it needs a re-do.......will use baskets in the future..................
I missed pictures of the heat setting & the 1st few cooks, but it turned almost a strange brown color until the paint settled in....................
